The Contemporary European Design Business Mission, under the EU Business Avenues in Southeast Asia programme, visited Indonesia from March 13-14th , 2017 to tap into potential business opportunities in the fast-growing region.

More than 40 Europe-based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) showcased cutting-edge and creative European designs, coinciding with the Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX). The comprehensive showcase included: carpets, curtains, decorative items such as pottery, high-end design tableware and cutlery, finished home textiles, furniture, interior lighting and small furniture.

In conjunction with the mission, EIBN co-hosted the Networking Dinner on March 13th 2017 at Ciputra Artepreneur, Jakarta. The event was officially opened by H.E. Mr. Vincent GUÉREND, the Head of Delegation/ Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia and to Brunei Darussalam.
