Hospital Expo 2016 is the largest hospital, medical, pharmaceutical, clinical, laboratories equipment and medicine exhibition in the country. The event was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from 19 - 22 October 2016.

In conjunction with Hospital Expo, EIBN in cooperation with Business Sweden – The Swedish Trade and Invest Council in Indonesia hosted a Swedish Healthcare Business Delegation, from October 17th to October 20th, 2016. This event was part of the 3-day program designed to provide Swedish companies with a comprehensive overview of the Indonesian Healthcare Market and Industry, focusing on potential business opportunities between Sweden and Indonesia. It included information sessions with key experts and related associations, visit to the Hospital Expo, as well as visits to government hospitals and private hospitals. The program took place in Jakarta. In total 6 Swedish companies participated in the healthcare delegation, actively engaging in B2B’s, seminars, official meetings, and networking opportunities. EIBN, in addition, successfully supported the delegation with a booth at the Hospital Expo, where the Swedish companies had the chance to showcase their companies to the visiting local distributors.

The EIBN team also was present at the Hospital Expo 2016, standing by to enhance the participation of attending EU companies with its market intelligence and business support services.
