In the beginning of the year, EIBN team toured to Finland and Sweden as a part of EIBN outreach activities in Europe from January 23-25, 2018. EIBN together with EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN) conducted a business seminar and individual business consultation with Finish and Swedish companies. The aim of the roadshow was to give an insight regarding the Indonesian and Philippines market and how the EU companies can tap into the market through services provided by EIBN and EPBN.
The first roadshow was successfully conducted in Helsinki, Finland on January 23, 2018. In cooperation with the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, Finncham, Business Finland, and Enterprise Europe Network, the EIBN and EPBN team organised a comprehensive business seminar on business opportunities in Indonesia and Philippines as well as individual business consultations with Finish companies.
Furthermore, on January 25, 2018 the second roadshow was held in Malmo, Sweden. The team from EIBN and EPBN together with "Invest in Skane" European Enterprise Network (EEN) Malmo organized an Information Session on How to enter the Indonesia and Philippines market. Each team member gave a great presentation regarding the leading sectors and opportunities of their countries to Swedish companies interested in expanding their market to Indonesia and Philippines. After the info session, the team welcomed the participants by having individual consultation to have a better understanding regarding the markets and how the companies can utilize the services offered by EIBN.
The team successfully introduced EIBN as the focal point to assist European companies interested in expanding their business in Indonesia. The team also presented to the European companies the opportunity to participate at EIBN’s F&B and Healthcare trade missions to Indonesia and EIBN’s European Pavilion at Food, Hotel, and Tourism Bali 2018.
