INAMARINE 2017 is Indonesia’s largest and most influential trade show for the maritime and offshore industry. The 7th edition of INAMARINE 2017 took place from August 23-25th, 2017 at JI Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
The maritime sector is becoming a core focus of President Joko Widodo’s agenda, with his vision to make Indonesia a Global Maritime Axis, given the country’s strategic position in the global sea trade. Indonesia is one of the largest maritime countries in the world: 6 million of its 7.9 million square-kilometer territorial area is seawater, with 17,508 islands and a coastline of 94,156 kilometers, the fourth longest in the world after Canada, USA & Russia. Indonesia has 3 sea lanes and with over 2,400 ports and terminals. The archipelago is situated on a crossroads between the Pacific and Indian oceans, and bridges two continents: Asia and Oceania.
INAMARINE 2017 offered a great opportunity to network with Indonesia’s leading shipyards, ship repairs, ship builders, buyers, importers and distributors, to lead your business to greater success and to gain access to the promising Indonesian market. The Expo took place together with Welding Indonesia 2017, Coating Indonesia 2017, and FluidTech Indonesia 2017.
The EIBN team, present with a booth, stood by to enhance the participation of attending EU companies informing them about the Network and its business support services.
