During EU ICI+ SEBSEAM Regional Coordination Meeting held in Jakarta on March 8-9th, 2018, the regional partners  established of EU-ASEAN SME Support Network. This platform was launched officially on June 21st and supported by the 7 EU ICI+ SEBSEAM (Support for European Business in South East Asian Markets) projects and organizations in ASEAN, including Indonesia (EIBN), Malaysia (SEBSEAM-M), Vietnam (EVBN), Philippines (EPBN), Cambodia (EuroCham Cambodia), Laos (ECCIL) and Myanmar (EuroCham Myanmar).

The aim of the organization is to make the ASEAN region more visible by strengthening the existence of each project to attract more EU SMEs to ASEAN countries and ensure that EU companies are able to do business in ASEAN markets as efficiently and openly as possible, so as to boost the EU’s trade and investment in region.     

During the event, the Network presented their organization and purpose  and how they can assist the EU companies to enter one of the fastest growing regions in the world, ASEAN.
