The EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) and the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) jointly hosted the interactive info session “Investing in Indonesia: Opportunities and Services to EU companies” on the 16th of September 2014 at EKONID. This event specifically addressed local experts in European embassies, trade promotion agencies and chambers of commerce, in order to equip them with updated information on investment procedures for their national companies looking to invest in Indonesia.

BKPM’s Deputy Chairman for Investment Service, Mrs. Lestari Indah, presented to the audience an overview of Indonesia’s economy, investment climate and policy development; it was followed by a practical presentation on the step-by-step procedures for investment, case studies and services available for companies. The info session ended with a roundtable discussion.
