The EU-ASEAN Business Networks, composed by EIBN (Indonesia) EVBN (Vietnam), EPBN (Philippines), EABC (Thailand) and SEBSEAM-M (Malaysia) toured Europe in May 2015 for a series of information and B2B sessions directed at local SMEs.

Latvia was one of the host countries in this series of Roadshows, in a session organized in Riga in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 14 2015.

The aim of the event was to provide knowledge to Latvian SMEs about business opportunities in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines, and how to tap into these markets through the resources and services provided by the EU-ASEAN Business Networks.  

This event was open to all Latvian companies with an interest in internationalization, in particularly in the markets of the ASEAN region. Kindly find the presentation materials in the following link.

Making the most of its presence in the country, EIBN representatives also attended the E-Health Week event (Riga, Latvia, 11-13 May). At this flagship event, EIBN had the opportunity to make contact with various European companies in this segment and extend its outreach goals.

In addition, EIBN organized the info session Healthcare Business Opportunities in Indonesia on May 14 2015, after the EU-ASEAN-dedicated session. This round table gathered around 20 Latvian companies to learn and discuss this industry in the context of the Indonesian market, possible market entry strategies and the support that EIBN can give in order to tap into existing business opportunities. This session also had the support of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
