EIBN participated in the E-Health Week event (Riga, Latvia, 11-13 May).
EIBN was also present at the event’s matchmaking session on Tuesday, 12th May afternoon, during which EIBN had the opportunity to meet 15 EU companies and presented market opportunities in Indonesia and the business support services available to them through the Networik. It was also an occasion to introduce and discuss with participating companies the upcoming EIBN Healthcare Sector Trade Mission and to provide 1-on-1 consultations with interested companies.
Taking place during the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the eHealth Week 2015comprised two main events: the High Level eHealth Conference organised by the Latvian Ministry of Health and the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union; and the WoHIT (World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition), organised byHIMSS Europe.
Beyond the two main events, the High Level eHealth Conference & WoHIT, eHealth Week participants could attend a range of sessions and activities including the mHealth Summit Europe, EU SME eHealth Competition, an onsite Matchmaking Event and a state of the art exhibition, including country pavilions from all over the world. Moreover, EIBN with support of The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised the Roundtable Healthcare Business Opportunities in Indonesia on Thursday, May 14. Around 18 Latvian SMEs took part in the event, ranging from E-health software developers, to medical devices and pharmaceutical companies. The aim of this session wasto provide further knowledge regarding market demand, potential prospects and regulatory requirements of the Indonesian Healthcare market.
Those activities were part of the EIBN Roadshow program in Latvia.
