The EU-ASEAN Business Networks, composed by EIBN (Indonesia) EVBN (Vietnam) , EPBN (Philippines), EABC (Thailand) and SEBSEAM-M (Malaysia) toured Europe in May 2015 for a series of information and B2B sessions directed at local SMEs.

Finland was one of the host countries in this series of Roadshows, in a session organized in Helsinki in cooperation with FinPro on May 19 2015.

On 20 May, EIBN was also present with its booth at the Upgraded Life Festival 2015, promoting Healthcare opportunities in Indonesia to attending companies.

The aim of the event was to provide knowledge to Finnish SMEs about business opportunities in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines, and how to tap into these markets through the resources and services provided by the EU-ASEAN Business Networks. 

This event was open to all Finnish companies with an interest in internationalization, in particularly in the markets of the ASEAN region. Please find the presentation materials in the following link.

The common goal of the EU-ASEAN Business Networks, co-funded by the European Union under the ICI+ programme, to stimulate and enhance trade and investment from the European Union to ASEAN, focusing particularly on facilitating market access to European SMEs.
