Following EIBN's regular market monitoring, the Network has identified bakery & baking goods as key sub-sectors in the Indonesian market. In line with this trend, the Network visited Europain in Paris on 8 February in order to reach out to companies in the sector looking to internationalize towards Indonesia. The trade fair saw 800 exhibitors and enjoyed over 80,000 professionals in the sector, giving Irma Orlandi, EU Project Officer, a unique opportunity to network therein and to present the many business opportunities in this industry in Indonesia at the moment. This event also presents the first of its kind attended by the EIBN, and marks the first event in France this year since 2014.

EIBN's presence in France in February will also serve as leeway for the upcoming roadshows in March (Paris & Lille).
