Hospital Expo 2015 is the largest hospital, medical, pharmaceutical, clinical, laboratories equipment and medicine exhibition in the country. The event was held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from 21 - 24 October 2015.

Indonesia, with a population over 250 million people and over 2,390 hospitals, is one of the fastest growing private hospital sectors in the region with an increase of 12,95% in 2013 -2014. Indonesia also represents one of the biggest markets for medical equipment, the import quote of 97% shows that Indonesia is still heavily dependent on foreign equipment.

The EIBN team, being present at the Hospital Expo 2015,  stood by to enhance the participation of attending EU companies with its business support services.

During the Hospital Expo, EIBN also organised a business meeting program for a Croatian eHealth company and a Polish medical devices company. EIBN supported the companies in opening possibilities for business partnerships that can facilitate the market entry of their products in Indonesia. The EIBN team was successful in finding high potential business partners for the companies, putting forth the contacts and programme, supporting B2B meetings on the ground and assisting with follow-up in the medium-term.
