SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2016 is the second edition of the show held in Bangkok and giving access to the whole ASEAN region. The ASEAN region is experiencing a dynamic agricultural expansion, as well as a growing mechanization of its agricultural practices, and now requires efficient equipment in order to meet its needs and ambition in the agri-food chain.

SIMA ASEAN Thailand 2016 is an international exhibition & conference for agricultural and food-processing suppliers in ASEAN countries. This event is the innovation place with innovative equipment, best farming practices and helps the farmer's organization work in order to get better productivity. SIMA ASEAN Thailand showcases agriculture machinery, agri-suppliers, animal husbandry, services-genetics, health, foodstuff and equipment for cattle, equipment and techniques for intensive livestock breeding.

The event was successfully held and became the most international and largest agri-business trade show in ASEAN which is officially open from 8-10 Sept 2016 at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Centre. This event was a result of joined forces between the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Thailand (MOAC) and IMPACT Exhibition Management, COMEXPOSIUM and AXEMA.

As a part of EIBN Outreach Activities, for the fourth time the EIBN team was in Bangkok to visit in SIMA ASEAN Thailand in order to introduce Indonesia’s agribusiness market to European exhibitor as well as introducing EIBN as a platform for assisting and supporting EU companies that are interested in entering the Indonesia market.
