Soon upon Indonesia’s President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo's return of his working visit to Europe this week, the Indonesian Government plans to issue the 12th economic policy package. With this, it is following up recent efforts to reform and deregulate the country’s economic structures, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution said on Tuesday (Apr. 19, 2016).
Earlier this week President "Widodo" announced, that the policy package’s focus is on three issues: expediting infrastructure development, conducting structural reforms or deregulation and improving human resources.
On March 29, 2016, the Government already issued the 11th economic package. With this, a policy was announced to encourage micro, small and medium businesses which are export-oriented and to stimulate them to increase exports and improve their competitiveness and quality.
