EIBN Roadshow to Czech Republic, Estonia, and Germany
During this September, as a part of EIBN Outreach activities in Europe, the team toured Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany in a series of Roadshows. The EIBN team conducted info session and individual business consultations with Czech and Estonian associations and companies as well as visited several trade fairs in Germany. The aim of the roadshow was to give an insight regarding Indonesia’s market and how the EU companies can tap into the market through services provided by EIBN.
The first roadshow was conducted in Czech Republic by visiting Prague on 20 September 2017. In cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Indonesian Embassy in Czech Republic, the EIBN team organised a comprehensive information session on business opportunities in Indonesia as well as individual business consultations with Czech companies. The roadshow was continued in Tallinn, Estonia on September 21, 2017. The EIBN team together with the Estonian Chamber of Commerce conducted the seminar for Estonian companies and associations. By the end of the seminar, the Estonian companies had a chance to meet with the EIBN team to do the individual business consultation in order to explore more regarding their product potential in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the EIBN team also had a chance to visit trade fairs in Germany, Südback, Stuttgart on 24 September 2017 and Medcare, Leipzig on 27 September 2017. Südback is one of the most important trade fairs for the bakery and confectionery trade in Germany. Medcare is the new national branch meeting for medical care in a cross-sectoral context. The focus is on therapies such as modern wound care, medical nutrition, incontinence and stoma care. These trade fair visits were part of the sector-focus of EIBN in F&B and Healthcare.
The team successfully introduced EIBN as the focal point to assist European companies interested in expanding their business in Indonesia. The team also well presented to the European companies sectors with potential in Indonesia together with the opportunity to participate at EIBN’s F&B and Healthcare trade mission, as well as the European Pavilion at Food, Hotel, and Tourism Bali 2018.
